I have never had an experience as bad as the one I’ve had with Barfield Contracting during a roof replacement. My roof took 7 weeks from the day they started pulling shingles off until it was finished.

The roof actually looks good now but it took multiple phone calls each week with no return calls most of the time. Crew left piles of garbage for days on end which then blew all over the yard. Nails are a huge problem...had a man come to clean gutters and he left because there are so many nails left in the gutter. My 80 year old father found a roofing nail in his tire.

I left a message for Barfield...no response. This is a never ending nightmare.

I chose Barfield because they guaranteed their job and said in the contract that site would be cleaned up! Now I have to pay to repair a tire and for someone to clean nails out of gutters.

Still finding nails in the landscaping. Over a gallon nails picked up by my elderly mother!
